Gambill Data LLC (“Gambill Data,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates gambilldata.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or submit a form, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, email us and we will clarify or fix it.
Information we collect
Information you submit directly. If you fill out the consultation request form, we collect your name, work email address, the concern you select, and any message you write. This is sent to us through Netlify Forms, our form-processing provider, and arrives as an email notification and a submission record in our Netlify account.
Scheduling information. If you book a strategy call or coaching fit call, you are taken to Calendly, a third-party scheduling tool. Calendly collects your name, email, and scheduling details directly and governs that information under its own privacy policy. We only receive the booking details necessary to hold the call.
Payment information. If you purchase a coaching product through a Stripe Checkout link, Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly. We do not receive, see, or store your card number or full billing details — Stripe's privacy policy governs that transaction.
Resource downloads. Resources on the Site are ungated: you can download them without providing an email address or any personal information.
Automatically collected information. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand aggregate Site traffic. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other websites. It reports anonymous, aggregated metrics such as page views, referral source, approximate country-level location, and device type. We cannot identify an individual visitor from this data.
How we use information
- To respond to a consultation request or other inquiry you send us.
- To schedule and prepare for a call you book.
- To understand, in aggregate, how people use the Site so we can improve it.
- To meet legal, accounting, or recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How information is shared
We share information only with the service providers necessary to run the Site and respond to you: Netlify (form processing and hosting), Calendly (scheduling), and Stripe (payment processing for coaching products). Each of those providers processes information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties, and we do not share it for marketing purposes outside of these operational providers.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gambill Data, our clients, or others.
Cookies and tracking
Plausible Analytics, used sitewide, does not set cookies. If you follow a link to a third-party service — Calendly, Stripe, YouTube, or Substack — that service may set its own cookies once you are on its site. Those cookies are governed by that service's policy, not this one.
Data retention
We keep consultation-request submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain a record of the engagement conversation, and meet basic business recordkeeping needs. You can ask us to delete information you've submitted at any time; see “Your choices” below.
Your choices
You can ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information you've submitted through the Site by emailing chris.gambill@gambilldataengineering.com. We will respond promptly and honor reasonable requests. For information held by Calendly or Stripe, you may also need to contact those providers directly, since they control that data independently.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site or our practices change. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
